Creative workshop: sketchbook bound and unbound!

Last weekend we had another full house for our workshop on making your own sketchbook…and then filling it.  It was the first time Betsy Barnum and I taught together and OMG how great was that!

The sketchbook binding process was intriguing and when the peeps finished, there was a tiny moment when they said, “No! I don’t want to mess it up, it’s my baby!”

But then all hell broke loose, bottles and potions, papers and washes, inks and pens and pencils and pastels came out and we got down to the serious business of PLAY!  By all accounts, we will have to do this again.  Stay tuned.
